If you are an Amazon Prime member and looking forward to the forthcoming Season 2 of Fallout, there's a prime opportunity just for you: The company is offering a fresh lineup of free games, featuring Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition.
Although it may not be strictly essential to grasping the plot of the upcoming post-apocalyptic series, gamers might consider grab the additional Fallout game included in this month's Prime Gaming offerings: the equally impressive and similarly wild Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. Better yet, subscribers can retain their downloadable games permanently with Prime Gaming, allowing you to jump in and play whenever.
New Season Details
The newest Fallout season, starring Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean and Walton Goggins as the mysterious bounty hunter referred to as The Ghoul, debuts on our silver screens on Dec. 17, with the third season confirmed to come after. That gives you ample opportunity to start playing Fallout: New Vegas.
Fallout: New Vegas will allow you to explore all the iconic locations and meet the eclectic characters that have been unveiled in Fallout season 2's trailers and first-look images.
One of the first images shown of the upcoming season depicts Walton Goggins' character, before the apocalypse, arriving at the Lucky 38 Casino and Resort. Not only is this a actual place you can visit in Fallout: New Vegas — you can even trade and play games, should fortune favor you — but it's also the headquarters of a key figure in the game: Mr. House.
The Character's Importance
Mr. House was seen briefly in the first season, but he has a significant role in the game as the owner of the Las Vegas area. Given that Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul are heading to New Vegas next season, it's highly likely that Mr. House will be involved.
